Пазарът е едновременно наш и чужд, умиляващ спомен и нашественик-заплаха. Борбата между града и пазара има дълга история, а относно Женски пазар тя е тясно свързана с кризата на българина – кой е и кой (не) иска да бъде. Визуална инсталация проследява тази дилема чрез историята на Ж.п. и визиите за негово бъдеще от век насам.
The market is at the same time ours and foreign; an endearing memory and intrusive threat. The battle between city and market is as old as their mutual concreation. At the Women’s Market this battle is tightly linked to the identity crisis of Bulgarians – who they are and who they (don’t) want to be. A visual installation follows this topic through the history of the market and the visions for its future for a century now.
